A time honored tradition, the classic "Madison Corps" jacket dates back to the early 1950s when the drum corps started to travel more consistently. The jackets, originally available in an Eisenhower cut or baseball-style (both pictured), were also worn during service projects to identify the corps members to the public. The back of the jacket featured a fleur-de-lisp appliqué along with an embroidered "Madison Corps", a feature that has endured over the history of the corps.
In the 1970s, the "Olde English M" made its appearance on the front of the jacket and by the 1990s the corps motto "May You Never Walk Alone" was embroidered on the back.
Keeping those traditions in place, the current corps jacket takes on a contemporary style that is better suited for a summer time (lighter weight) and outdoor activity (water-resistant) while also being easier to clean.
The jacket is a Port Authority J317 available in a full range of unisex sizing. The primary measurement is chest width, from which you can determine your required sizing. Details on the jacket and sizing chart CLICK HERE>>
The corps member jacket is only available only to marching members and alumni of the Madison Scouts.
